Welcome, you have reached the website of the Nene Valley Raceway Off Road Model Car Club who on the 31st October 2010 were named the 2010 BRCA club of the year. Why not come along and see what we do.
Nene Valley Raceway Off Road Model Car Club welcomes members from all the main off road scales from 1/10th to Large Scale and has an active 1/8th and Large Scale section.
The club has both adult and junior club, national and international racers within its membership.
2010 was a difficult year for the club having to relocate but on July 31st that year the club reopened on Airfield road (the approach road to Santa Pod). Click the images to see how we looked on the 31st July.
The club reopended following 6 weeks of work undertaken by its members and friends following the planning concent in May to build one of the premier off road model car facilities in the area. The opening meeting was attended by both rallycross and large scale racers from as far south as Cornwall and Essex, Manchester and above in the North and Sleford in the East.
On 10th October the venue hosted the final round of the BRCA Large Scale Off Road (LSOR) series which was won by Ian Oddie, the UK's 2010 European large scale off road champion.
The clubs 2010 winter series commenced on the 12th September and finished on the 27th February 2011.
With Lee Bunker taking the rallycross honours and Glyn Taylor the Largescale title. Dave Smith took the Largescale 4 wheel drive title and Phil Mawton the Rallycross electric.
The club hosted the opening round of the 2011 BRCA LSOR series and another Nene win for Ian Oddie. The clubs four round summer series commenced in April and continues to attrack Large Scale and Rally Cross drivers from afar.
From the 20th to the 22nd May the Nene hosted the British leg of the 2011 EFRA LSOR championship and despite a lot of hard challenges from the best of the UK's and Euro's off road racers it was another win for Ian Oddie.

On Sunday the 25th September the Nene will hold its 2011 AGM, all members welcome.
The meeting will commence @ 10am on site and will allow members the opportunity to vote and have there say on 2012 plans along with the club aligning it self for the forthcoming BRCA AGM in late October.
If you wish to have your say on the club then please come along. Bashing will resume following the AGM
Our 2011 summer series is open to all largescale and rallycross drivers no matter what you ability and you don't need to join our club to score championship points.
All we ask is that you hold a valid BRCA race licence..

Detailed below are the 2011 NVR summer and winter series dates which are open to all abilities of Rally cross and large scale racer who are welcome to enter our friendly series.
You don't need to join our club to score championship points, all we ask is that you hold a valid BRCA race licence.
Our 2011 Summer series dates are :-
Rnd 1 - 10th April 2011 Rnd 2 - 12th June 2011 Rnd 3 - 3rd July 2011 Rnd 4 - will now be a joint round with the 1st round of the winter series on the 2nd October - one meeting - points for two series
