The Nene will be the place to be in 2010, having an ideal location with Santa Pod as our backdrop.
In line with the new season, new location and time for a change the Nene Valley Raceway Off Road Model Car Club have decided to revamp the clubs home page and thanks to the hard work of Ozzy its taking shape despite the demanding requests from the Nene's webmaster.
The committee of the Nene Valley Raceway Off Road Model Car club are pleased to announce that an alternative site to Goosey Lodge has been found and on the 2nd January the clubs infrastructure including rostrum were removed from Goosey Lodge and transported to our new home.
Like the Nene's old facility at Goosey Lodge the new venue is still within ear shot of Santa Pod and has good access off the A6 and A45. Likewise the club will continue to support local events and Rushden town as a thank you to the support the club had received in its hour of need, or should it be three weeks!
Being evicted from the old site has meant that the club will not be able to continue its Winter series as scheduled or open a summer series in spring as other venues will be doing.
