On behalf on the Nene can I thank all the racers for supporting the delayed round 1 of the 2021 BRCA LSOR championship at the nene this weekend and congratulations to the winners in all the classes and not just the top end drivers but those who were doing their first national,those who set a pb and those who had old scores to settle with mates and fellow racers. Whilst the club thanks all the LSOR racers for supporting the recent BRCA national at the Nene I am disappointed to have to post up here that 27% of the attendees decided it would be better to leave the club short on its practice and camping money!
Whilst I am sure the lack of payment is down to the excitement of the club offering free food and drink on Saturday evening, I will not be naming and shaming and hope those owing payments will do the honest thing by the club.

Sophie Finch my heart goes out too after a flawless final I was gutted but you have shown you can deffo hold your own against the boys well done to you
Myself found some epic pace this weekend going from 7th in the main final up to second place then about ten mins in my centre diff just let go in the most epic of fashions.
But I still enjoyed every second of the weekend

Whilst I can not be there to celebrate our achievement this evening due to being with my father at short notice I’ll be thinking of the celebrations in full swing.
Don’t think the nene is done I believe we have a few enlightening projects planned along with a few rolls of green carpet to lay too 😉
