It’s that time of the year when we start to think of those long summer sunny weekends, with the smell of the BBQ, nitro fuel and petrol in the air.
The Nene are pleased to announce their open to all, friendly 1/8th and Large Scale summer series.
Weather permitting our race Sundays are :-
Rnd 1 – 16th April
Rnd 2 – 4th June
Rnd 3 – 25th June
Rnd 4 – 23rd July
Rnd 5 – 13th August
Rnd 6 – 15th October
If you have not raced before then come along to one of our bash days and speak to Mark or Digger, or any of our members who can point out what you need and what to do.
Whilst the club is going through its current repair process the pitting area will be reduced and whilst it’s intended to offer free camping to our members Saturday evening this is TBC per round depending on weather etc.
Also weather permitting Saturday afternoon the club will be open for practicing and this will be offered free to our members, or £5 to non members.
Race meetings at the Nene are timed to 1/100th of a second by using a device called a personnel transponder(PT) and due to our decoder being one of the latest only MYLAPS PT’s will operate with the decoder.
