Following yesterdays positive announcement it is with sadness that following Boris Johnsons announcement this afternoon I have to announce that the Nene will be closed for the foreseeable future in line with Bedfordshire being categized within the new Tier 4 category and in affect in lockdown with no sport or interacts allowed. Whilst we continue to find ourselves in a fluid situation the clubs thanks its members and friends for their support throughout 2020 and our hopes of seeing the year out with a race meeting are now dashed with the next government review not likely to occur until after our planned meeting on the 30th December....

Nene – Covid Update – 19th Dec’20

Following this weeks revisions to the UK's tier levels I can confirm that the Nene comes under Bedford Borough Council and from 00:01 on the 19th December will increase from being in Tier 2 to Tier 3. Bedfordshire along with Peterborough, Bucks, Berkshire, London, Essex etc. join the Very High Alert category. Whilst this increase in Tier status does not stop the club from being open I do need to remind anyone from lower tiers that the club is in tier 3 and you should adhere to the tier 3 advise whilst visiting the club and please register your attendance whilst onsite using the QR code onsite or directly via…...
